01The problem

Students cannot choose careers they have never encountered.

Career awareness expands the student's understanding of possibilities beyond familiar professions. Interactive sessions can introduce career clusters, emerging pathways, subject-career connections and real-world professional opportunities.

Ask a class of fifteen-year-olds to name careers and you will get eight, perhaps ten. The list is short not because they lack ambition but because nobody has shown them anything else. Awareness sessions widen it — clusters rather than job titles, the paths that lead into each, the school subjects that quietly connect to them, and people who actually do the work describing what an ordinary Tuesday looks like.

Bring Career Awareness to Your School

The evidence behind all of this — who you would speak to, and what we will not claim — sits on the Career Guidance for Schools page, where it belongs to the whole audience rather than to one service.
