Terms of Use
These terms will set out the governing law and jurisdiction, the scope of the services offered, what an assessment does and does not claim, and the limits of liability.
What these things are
Stated positively first, so that the limits below read as limits and not as modesty.
What an assessment is
A measurement of defined constructs, placing a person relative to a comparison group, on one occasion, with a stated margin of error.
What a report is
Evidence to be read and discussed. It is an input to a decision made by the person, not the decision itself.
And what they are not
These are limits on us, written so that a reader can hold us to them.
What an assessment is not
It is not a diagnosis, and no instrument offered here diagnoses any condition.
It does not identify a calling
No instrument identifies the work a person was meant to do, and nothing sold here is offered as doing so.
It does not predict individual outcomes
Group-level associations are real. Their application to one named person carries far more uncertainty than a confident report suggests, and we do not present them as predictions.
It does not settle a disagreement
A profile can change what a family argument is about. It cannot end one, and is not sold as ending one.
Counselling is not therapy
Career guidance and counselling offered here are not psychotherapy and are not a substitute for treatment by a registered clinician.
