The PsychoMath works with universities and their departments to carry education and psychology from the classroom into practice — research that answers questions practice is asking, publication that meets the standard of a journal, and policy and implementation work that takes findings into institutions.
Research in education and psychology is most useful when it leaves the department. We help faculty and research scholars frame questions that practice is actually asking, design studies that can carry their claims, and measure what they set out to measure. We support the road to publication, from the structure of a manuscript to the answer to a reviewer. And where findings bear on policy — in schools, in counselling services, in the university itself — we help turn them into guidelines, programmes and training that can be implemented and then evaluated.
