Early insight can help identify when further support may be appropriate.
Psychological screening can provide an initial structured indication of areas that may require attention. Screening is not a diagnosis and should be interpreted within an appropriate professional framework.
Screening is a first look, not a verdict. It indicates that an area may deserve attention, in the way a routine check indicates that something is worth investigating further. It is not a diagnosis, it cannot be turned into one by anybody not qualified to diagnose, and a result on its own should never decide anything about a person. Interpretation happens within a professional framework, or it does not happen at all.
What screening is and is not
- An indication that something merits a closer look.
- Never a diagnosis, and never used as one.
- Interpreted within a professional framework, or not at all.

The evidence behind all of this — who you would speak to, and what we will not claim — sits on the Psychology & Well-being page, where it belongs to the whole audience rather than to one service.
