01The problem

Sometimes clarity begins with having a safe professional conversation.

Counselling provides a structured space to explore emotional, psychological and personal concerns. Services should operate within appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality principles and referral pathways.

Counselling is an hour that belongs to you, with somebody trained to be useful rather than reassuring. Nothing has to be a crisis to justify it. People come because a decision will not settle, because something at home has changed, because they cannot name what is wrong. What is said stays between you and the counsellor within limits set out before you begin — and if you need something beyond this service, you will be told so.

Talk to a Professional

The evidence behind all of this — who you would speak to, and what we will not claim — sits on the Psychology & Well-being page, where it belongs to the whole audience rather than to one service.
