Work Values Inventory (WVI)
The Work Values Inventory (WVI) by Melissa A. Messer and Jennifer A. Greene measures the six work values used by the US Occupational Information Network (O*NET): achievement, recognition, independence, relationships, support and working conditions. People give, score and interpret it themselves in about 10 minutes, which helps career counsellors guide clients towards suitable jobs and helps HR staff judge how well a candidate fits a post and the organisation. An index sorts over 1,300 occupations by work value and the education they require, and the kit contains the professional manual with fast guide and 25 each of the assessment booklets, score summary sheets and occupations indexes.
