The WJ IV Tests of Cognitive Abilities, grounded in Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) theory, cover an unusually wide range of cognitive abilities for people aged 2 to over 90. Its tests and clusters are chosen to reveal a person's pattern of strengths and weaknesses across seven broad CHC abilities, and a Gf-Gc Composite allows reasoning and knowledge to be set against the person's other cognitive abilities, their oral language and their achievement. The kit includes the examiner's manual and training workbook, the Standard and Extended test book, a scoring guide and a pack of 25 test records and response booklets with scoring licences.
