Wiesen Test of Mechanical Aptitude™
The Wiesen Test of Mechanical Aptitude (WTMA) is a paper-and-pencil test of mechanical aptitude for adults aged 18 to 65, used alone or within a selection battery in manufacturing and other employment and training settings, and in research. It was built to keep gender, ethnic and academic bias to a minimum, so its questions do not rely on knowledge from chemistry or physics lessons or from working on cars. It suits vocational and technical training programmes as well as staffing agencies, and takes 30 to 40 minutes. The kit includes the manual, 10 reusable item booklets, 25 answer sheets and a scoring key.
