What Are They Thinking? is a set of 30 A4 cards for building empathy and understanding of feelings, for ages 5 and over. Users imagine what the people shown are thinking and how they themselves would feel in the same position, and fill in the speech bubble, which leads to lively discussion or creative writing about how thoughts and feelings connect, how behaviour affects others and how surprise, stress, anger or excitement shape our reactions. A booklet and a CD are included.
