Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS)
This Indian version of the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS), which E. A. Doll created in 1935, is widely used across India. Its 89 items give a child's social age and social quotient from birth to 15 years, and also point to social strengths and gaps in a growing child, which helps in identifying intellectual disability. It is given individually in 18 to 25 minutes, and the kit contains a manual and 100 response sheets.
