Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test™ - 2 (UNIT™-2)
The Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test, Second Edition (UNIT2), by Bruce A. Bracken and R. Steve McCallum, gives a fair measure of intelligence for people aged 5 to 21 whose speech, hearing or language is impaired, who come from other cultures or languages, or who do not communicate readily in words. Its six subtests, among them cube design, spatial and symbolic memory, analogic reasoning and numerical series, combine into seven composite scores, and the results help with questions of intellectual disability, giftedness and learning disability. The abbreviated battery takes 10 to 15 minutes, the standard batteries 30 and the full scale 45 to 60, all given individually. The kit contains the examiner's manual, stimulus books 1 to 3, 25 record forms and an object kit with chips, grids, 9 cubes, a mat and 10 memory cards, in a canvas carrying case.
