Trauma Symptom Inventory™-2(TSI™-2)
The Trauma Symptom Inventory, Second Edition (TSI-2), by John Briere, is a broad measure of posttraumatic stress and the other psychological after-effects of trauma, such as assault, violence from a partner, combat, accidents, disasters, medical trauma, loss, and abuse or neglect in childhood, for adults aged 18 to 88. This edition adds or reshapes scales for insecure attachment, bodily preoccupation and suicidality, and summary factors covering somatization, externalization, posttraumatic stress and disturbance of the self. New items check whether a person is denying common symptoms, reporting unusual ones or answering at random, so it also addresses malingering. It takes about 20 minutes, and the kit contains the professional manual, 10 reusable item booklets, 25 hand-scorable answer sheets and 25 profile forms.
