Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)

The Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), created by Henry A. Murray, is a classic projective test in which the person tells or writes a story about each of a series of picture cards, revealing to a trained interpreter the main drives, emotions, complexes and conflicts in their personality. It is used in the comprehensive study of personality and in work with behaviour disorders and psychosomatic illness. The set has 31 cards, with some for men, some for women, some for both and one blank card, and the kit contains the cards and the manual.
