The New Reynell Developmental Language Scales (NRDLS )
The New Reynell Developmental Language Scales (NRDLS), by Susan Edwards, Carolyn Letts and Indra Sinka, are the fourth edition of the Reynell scales, long used to pick out young children aged 3 to 7 whose speech or language is delayed or impaired. Clinicians, teachers and researchers use them to gain an overall picture of a child's language, to guide intervention and to judge how well it works. It takes 35 to 60 minutes individually, and the kit contains the test manual, a multilingual toolkit manual, a picture book, stimulus materials and 25 record forms in a carry case.
