Tests of Dyslexia (TOD - E) Early Kit
The Tests of Dyslexia, Early (TOD-E), by Nancy Mather, R. Steve McCallum, Sherry Mee Bell and Barbara J. Wendling, look for early signs of dyslexia in young children, from kindergarten to grade 2. Its tasks include rhyming, early segmenting of words, letter and sound knowledge, recognising letters and sight words, early rapid naming of numbers and letters, and sounds and made-up words, and the results help build a picture of the child's reading, spelling and language skills. It takes 20 to 25 minutes individually, and the kit contains the manual, norms, the companion guide to interventions, the TOD-E easel and 10 record forms, with screener materials.
