Tests of Dyslexia (TOD - C) Comprehensive Kit
The Tests of Dyslexia, Comprehensive (TOD-C), by Nancy Mather, R. Steve McCallum, Sherry Mee Bell and Barbara J. Wendling, are the fullest of the three TOD sets and are used from grade 1 to adulthood. They cover three domains, vocabulary and reasoning, reading and spelling, and the processing of language, through tasks such as phonological manipulation, rapid naming, reading real and made-up words, reading efficiency, spelling, word memory and analogies, and rating scales for parents, teachers and the person gather signs such as a family history of reading problems. Together they build a profile that shows whether a person has characteristics consistent with dyslexia; testing takes 30 to 40 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, norms, a companion guide to interventions, easels 1 and 2, and packs of 10 response booklets and record forms, with screener materials.
