Test of Early Reading Ability - Fourth Edition (TERA-4)
The Test of Early Reading Ability–Fourth Edition (TERA-4) measures actual early reading skills in children aged 4 to 8, rather than their readiness to read. Three subtests look at knowledge of the alphabet and how it is used, knowledge of print conventions, and the ability to get meaning from print, and together they give a General Reading Index. It takes about 30 minutes, and the kit includes the manual, picture books and 25 record forms for each of Forms A and B, and a reader.
