Suicide Probability Scale (SPS)
The Suicide Probability Scale (SPS) by John G. Cull and Wayne S. Gill gives clinicians a quick measure of suicide risk in adolescents and adults over 13, suited to routine screening in high-risk settings. The person rates how often each of 36 statements about feelings and behaviour applies to them, and the form itself carries no mention of suicide in its heading. It yields a weighted total, a T-score and a suicide probability score; it takes 5 to 10 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, 25 test forms and 25 profile forms.
