Structured Interview of Reported Symptoms, 2nd Ed.

The Structured Interview of Reported Symptoms, Second Edition (SIRS-2), by Richard Rogers, is an interview for assessing whether a person aged 18 and over is feigning psychiatric symptoms, and it also includes a scale for defensiveness. Its scales are built so that answering them does not point to any particular mental disorder, and each shows a different way in which a person may distort or invent symptoms. The second edition focuses on how feigning is likely to show itself, for example by exaggerating the severity of real symptoms rather than inventing new ones, and it takes 30 to 40 minutes; the kit includes the manual, 25 interview booklets and a set of 2 security templates.
