SPECTRA™ Indices of Psychopathology
The SPECTRA: Indices of Psychopathology, by Mark A. Blais and Samuel Justin Sinclair, is a quick, layered assessment of mental disorder in adults aged 18 and over, for use in hospitals and clinics, schools and forensic work. It measures 12 clinical areas, from depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress to alcohol and drug problems, aggression, psychosis and manic or grandiose thinking, groups them into internalizing, externalizing and reality-impairing spectra, and combines these into a General Psychopathology Index that maps onto DSM-5. It takes 15 to 20 minutes, and the kit contains the professional manual and fast guide, 5 reusable item booklets, 25 response booklets and 25 score summary and profile forms.
