Social Responsiveness Scale, Second Edition (SRS-2)
The Social Responsiveness Scale–Second Edition (SRS-2) picks out the social impairment associated with autism spectrum disorder and measures how severe it is, working both as a screener and as an aid to diagnosis. It is sensitive to mild symptoms yet able to distinguish one clinical group from another, whether on the autism spectrum or in comparing autism with other conditions. Forms for preschool children, school-age children, adults and adult self-report cover ages 3 to 99, so symptoms can be followed across the lifespan. A rating takes 15 to 20 minutes, and the kit includes the manual and 25 AutoScore forms of each kind.
