The Shukla Marital Attitude Battery (SMAB) by Dr. Anshu Shukla, Dr. Sangita Deodiya and Dr. Tejbali Singh assesses how unmarried young people over 18 view marriage. Its 137 items fall into four subtests: how they perceive marriage, what they expect of it, how they would cope with a spouse and with in-laws, and their attitudes to consummation and having children.
