Sexual Health Promotion and Training in People with Intellectual Disability
This training programme by Dr. Babita Gupta helps people with intellectual disability, aged 10 and above, and their parents learn about sexuality and sexual health, so that they can protect themselves from abuse and exploitation at home, in society and at work. Its activity-based modules cover knowing one's body and mind, the changes of puberty including menstruation, private and public places and behaviour, safe and unsafe touch, and workplace harassment under the POSH Act, while also building confidence and self-esteem. It is in English, and the kit contains a training manual, activity booklets, flash cards, board puzzles and puppets.
