Reynolds Depression Screening Inventory (RDSI)
The Reynolds Depression Screening Inventory (RDSI) by William M. Reynolds and Kenneth A. Kobak is a quick self-report check of depressive symptoms in adults aged 18 to 89, based on the DSM-IV symptoms of major depressive disorder. It does not give a formal diagnosis, but its cutoff scores help clinicians spot people who may be at risk of more serious depression. It was developed with 855 adults, including psychiatric outpatients, takes 5 to 10 minutes, and the kit contains the professional manual and 25 booklets.
