Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale - Second Ed. (RCMAS-2)
The RCMAS-2 is a brief self-report measure of anxiety for children and young people aged 6 to 19. Anxious children are often quiet and eager to please, so their difficulties can be missed; this scale brings worry, stress and fear into view before they lead to trouble at school, withdrawal or worse. Items are answered yes or no at an elementary reading level and grouped by content to help target intervention, and this edition brings a Short Form, norms that are both more recent and more ethnically diverse, and fresh items on how children experience anxiety today. It takes 10 to 15 minutes (under 5 for the Short Form), and the kit includes the manual, an audio CD and 25 AutoScore forms.
