The Psychological Participation Index by Prof. D. M. Pestonjee and Dr. Ashok Pratap Singh measures how far workers feel they take part in the decisions of their managers and supervisors. Its fifteen statements, some worded positively and some negatively, are answered on a scale running from definitely true to definitely false, and cover four areas: autonomy, involvement, being asked for opinions, and decision making. It takes 5 to 10 minutes, individually or in groups, is in English, and the kit contains a manual, 100 consumable booklets and a scoring key.
