Psychoeducational Profile - Third Edition (PEP-3)
The Psychoeducational Profile–Third Edition (PEP-3) assesses the skills and behaviours of children with autism or communication disabilities whose development falls between 6 months and 7 years. Its profile charts uneven development, emerging skills and autistic features, highlights learning strengths and teachable skills, and helps plan educational programmes and IEPs. A Caregiver Report, filled in beforehand, adds the parent's estimate of the child's developmental level, and scores can be compared both with children on the autism spectrum and with children who do not have autism. Testing takes 45 to 90 minutes, and the kit includes the manual, a picture book, an object kit and 10 each of the scoring, response and caregiver forms.
