The Professional Competency Assessment Scale by S. Madhu Bindu, Dr. Nirmala Singh Rathore and Dr. Prakriti Sushmita gauges how capable a working adult aged 35 to 55 is of carrying out the tasks of a role. Its 25 items cover 5 dimensions: taking initiative, analysis, planning and organising, making decisions, and working under pressure. Employers can use the results to judge fitness for a role, and individuals can use them to see where to improve. It is given in groups, takes about 10 minutes, is in English, and the kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
