PATH-KG, by Neha Tiwari and Dr. U. V. Kiran, checks phonological awareness in Hindi-speaking kindergarten children aged 3 to 6. Through tasks such as spotting the odd one out, blending, segmenting and changing sounds, it looks at rhymes, syllables and whole words. Because it is quick to give, it helps catch early warning signs of later reading difficulty and points the way to early intervention. It takes about 10 minutes, is in Hindi, and the kit has a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
