The Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), by Leslie C. Morey, is an objective inventory for adults aged 18 to 89 that assesses psychopathological syndromes and informs diagnosis, treatment planning and screening. Its 344 items form 22 scales that do not overlap: 4 validity, 11 clinical, 5 treatment and 2 interpersonal scales, with subscales on 10 of them to capture complex clinical constructs. It takes 50 to 60 minutes to complete and 15 to 20 to score, and the kit includes the second edition of the manual, 2 reusable item booklets, 2 administration folios and 25 each of the answer sheets, revised adult profile forms and revised critical items forms.
