Pediatric Behavior Rating Scale™ (PBRS™)
The Pediatric Behavior Rating Scale (PBRS) is a norm-referenced rating scale, completed by parents and teachers, that helps pick out symptoms linked with early-onset bipolar disorder in young people aged 3 to 18. It also helps spot coexisting conditions and tell apart disorders whose symptoms and behaviour look alike, concentrating on symptoms and profiles rather than giving a diagnosis. A rating takes 15 to 20 minutes, and the kit includes the manual with 25 each of the reusable item booklets, response booklets and score summary forms for parents and for teachers.
