Parenting Alliance Measure (PAM)
The Parenting Alliance Measure (PAM), by Richard R. Abidin and Timothy R. Konold, looks at how well parents work together in raising their child, the parenting side of a couple's relationship, for parents of children aged 1 to 19. It serves in family counselling, joint custody evaluations, identifying problems in parenting and measuring the effect of intervention. It was standardised on 1,224 parents from the general population, with a clinical sample of 272 parents of children with ADHD, conduct problems, ODD and other difficulties, and it takes 10 to 15 minutes. The kit includes the manual and 50 hand-scorable test forms.
