P.G.I. Children's Memory Scale(PGI-CMS)
The PGI Children's Memory Scale (PGI-CMS), by Dwarka Pershad, Adarsh Kohli and Samita Sharma, evaluates memory in children aged 6 to 13 with neurological or psychiatric disorders. Its 10 subtests cover attention and concentration, mental balance, remote and recent memory, immediate and delayed recall, verbal retention of similar and dissimilar word pairs, visual retention and recognition of common objects. It is given individually in 25 to 30 minutes, comes in Hindi and English editions, and the kit includes a manual, 100 consumable booklets and a set of cards.
