Psychological Tests
Mullen Scales of Early Learning
Eileen M. Mullen's Mullen Scales of Early Learning assess language, motor and perceptual abilities in children from birth to 68 months, giving a quick, reliable picture of cognitive and motor development through five scales. The results pinpoint strengths and weaknesses and are well suited to judging readiness for school. Testing takes about 15 minutes at age 1, 25 to 35 minutes at age 3 and 40 to 60 minutes at age 5, and the kit contains the examiner's and administration manuals, a stimulus book, 25 record forms and a full set of manipulatives in a bag.
