The Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI-III), by Theodore Millon, Carrie Millon, Roger Davis and Seth Grossman, assesses adults aged 18 and over who are being evaluated for emotional, behavioural or interpersonal difficulties, in clinical, counselling, medical, forensic and other settings. It shows how personality disorders and clinical syndromes interact, following the Axis I and Axis II system of DSM-IV, and brings out the lasting personality traits beneath a person's visible symptoms, which helps in planning treatment. Its 2009 update added combined-gender norms and an inconsistency scale; it takes 25 to 30 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, a hand-scoring guide, 10 test booklets, 50 each of answer sheets, worksheets and profile forms, and answer keys.
