Measures of Psychosocial Development (MPD)
The Measures of Psychosocial Development (MPD), by Gwen A. Hawley, is based on Erik Erikson's theory of development and measures, for people aged 13 to 86, the positive and negative attitudes linked with each of Erikson's eight stages of development, how far the conflict of each stage has been resolved, and overall psychosocial health. Because it focuses on healthy growth rather than pathology, it suits clinical, counselling, training and research work. Its 27 scales include eight Positive, eight Negative and eight Resolution scales, it takes 15 to 20 minutes, and the kit includes the manual, 25 reusable item booklets, 50 answer sheets and 25 profile forms each for males and females.
