Marital Quality Assessment Scale
The Marital Quality Assessment Scale (MQAS), by Dr. Kanishka Varyani and Prof. Ritu Sharma, is a self-report measure of the quality of a marriage across seven domains: commitment, communication, intimacy, understanding, respect, trust and love. Each domain has 10 positively worded items rated on a six-point scale, 70 in all, and norms cover married adults aged 18 to 76 from India's diverse population. It takes 20 to 30 minutes, individually or in groups, and the kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
