Marital Coping Scale
The Marital Coping Scale (MCS) by Shweta Singh measures how married partners cope with difficulties in their relationship. Each partner rates 34 coping behaviours, which fall into six strategies: aggression, self-blame, stonewalling, avoidance, seeking support and a positive approach. It is hand-scored, was standardised on 200 married spouses, takes 10 to 15 minutes, and the kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
