The Marital Compatibility Index (MCI), by N. K. Chaddha and Vandana Chopra, assesses whether a person aged 18 to 60 has the basic psychological qualities that make for a lasting, successful marriage, helping to understand and even forecast the quality of a marriage. It looks at communication, flexibility, mutual respect, handling marital conflict, and accepting differences of opinion while keeping one's own autonomy. It takes 20 to 25 minutes, individually or in groups, and the kit includes a manual, 25 consumable booklets and 100 answer sheets.
