Managing by Motivation
Managing by Motivation helps managers become more effective by understanding what drives them and the people they lead. Built on the motivation theories of Maslow and Herzberg, it frames motivation in terms of needs for security, belonging, self-esteem and self-actualisation, and shows managers how to work with each employee's own motivators instead of relying on outside incentives. The 20-item questionnaire is self-scored in about 10 minutes and comes with interpretive notes, and the leader's guide adds training designs, a short lecture, norms and references; this set includes the guide and a pack of 5.
