LAC-3: Lindamood Auditory Conceptualization Test, 3rd Ed.
The Lindamood Auditory Conceptualization Test–Third Edition (LAC-3) measures how well a person aged 5 to 18 can perceive and think about speech sounds, with blocks and felts serving as a visual stand-in for the sounds. Because telling sounds apart and manipulating them underpins reading and spelling, the results are useful to speech-language pathologists, special educators and reading specialists. This edition adds three new categories of items on multisyllabic processing and provides standard scores for the total. Testing takes 20 to 30 minutes, and the kit includes the manual, 25 record booklets, 24 blocks, 6 felts and an audio CD.
