KLST-3: Kindergarten Language Screening Test, 3rd Ed.
The Kindergarten Language Screening Test, Third Edition (KLST-3), by Sharon Gauthier and Charles Madison, is a 47-item screen of spoken language that quickly identifies children aged 4 to 6 who need fuller evaluation and help, and can track their progress through the year. New items cover word meaning, sentence structure and word forms such as pronouns, plurals, verb agreement and past tense. Scores are worked out through the online scoring and report system, which replaces printed norm tables; it takes 10 minutes or less, and the kit contains the examiner's manual, a picture book, 50 record forms and access to the online system.
