This Job Involvement Scale by Dr. Ashok Pratap Singh, first developed in 1984, measures how involved people are in their work, whatever their job, organisation or the machines and tools they use. Its 54 items deal with intrinsic motivation, attachment and commitment to work, meeting the organisation's demands, and identifying with the organisation and its goals, each answered from strongly agree to strongly disagree. It takes 20 to 30 minutes, individually or in groups, is in English, and the kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
