Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment–Second Edition (IDA-2) Complete Kit
The Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment–Second Edition (IDA-2) is a family-centred, multidisciplinary process, carried out in six phases, for identifying children from birth to 3 years whose development is at risk. Its central tool, the Provence Birth-to-Three Developmental Profile, judges development against set criteria in gross and fine motor skills, language and communication, self-help, relationships with people and with objects, emotions, and coping. Because the team weighs health, family and social-emotional influences together, the results guide decisions on monitoring, consultation or intervention and can form the basis of the family's first service plan (IFSP). The complete kit includes the administration manual, a study guide, 25 each of the parent report forms, health record guides and record forms with online scoring, and a manipulatives kit.
