Indian Adaptation of Zuckerman-Kuhlman Personality Questionnaire
This Indian adaptation of the Zuckerman-Kuhlman Personality Questionnaire, by Umed Singh and Pradeep Kumar, measures the five biologically rooted personality factors of Zuckerman's alternative model in young adults aged 18 to 24: sociability, activity, impulsive sensation seeking, aggression-hostility and neuroticism-anxiety. Three of the factors also give facet scores, such as work effort, impulsivity and tolerance of isolation, and an infrequency scale picks up careless answering. Besides personality research, it is useful in clinical, counselling, organisational, sports, military and educational settings, and as a screening test. It takes 30 to 40 minutes, comes in Hindi and English editions, and the kit includes a manual, 25 reusable booklets, 100 answer sheets, 100 profile sheets and a scoring key.
