Hodson Assessment of Phonological Patterns 3rd Edition
The Hodson Assessment of Phonological Patterns, Third Edition (HAPP-3), by Barbara Williams Hodson, is a standardised test for children whose speech is very hard to understand, and its results can be read both against norms and against set criteria. This edition adds normative data, brings its stimulus words and phonetic transcriptions up to date for international use, and uses larger, easier evaluation forms. It is given individually in 15 to 20 minutes, from age 2 upwards, and the kit contains the examiner's manual with record and analysis forms, including screening forms for preschool children and for multisyllabic words.
