The Griffiths Scales of Child Development, Third Edition (Griffiths III), a full re-standardisation of the Griffiths Mental Development Scales, is a child-friendly measure of development that can be used continuously from birth to 6 years. Besides an overall measure of development, it gives a profile of strengths and needs in five areas: foundations of learning, language and communication, eye and hand coordination, personal-social-emotional development, and gross motor skills. The kit comes in a carrying case with the manuals (Parts I to III), 10 each of the record and drawing books, and the Quiet Book.
