The Family Relations Test: Children's Version (FRTC) by Eve Bene and James Anthony explores the positive and negative feelings a child aged 3 to 15 has towards each member of the family, and the feelings the child believes each of them has in return. It shows which family relationships may need attention, and its scoring also picks up feelings linked to parental overprotection and overindulgence. Separate record sheets suit children of 3 to 7 and 7 to 15; it is given individually in 20 to 25 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, 25 record sheets for each age group, a set of figures and a set of item cards.
