The Executive Function Scale (EFS), by Dr. Jaya Bharti, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Verma and Prof. Rashmi Singh, is a culturally grounded measure of executive functioning in Indian adolescents aged 12 to 18. Its items, rated on a five-point scale for how often a behaviour occurs, cover ten skills: planning, organisation, inhibition, self-monitoring, working memory, sustained attention, getting started on tasks, flexible thinking, emotional control and persistence towards goals.
