Evaluating Acquired Skills in Communication - Third Edition (EASIC–3)
The EASIC-3 is a five-level communication inventory for children whose communication is affected by developmental disability, autism, or a moderate or severe cognitive or language disorder, covering the span from 3 months to 6 years. Its items sample semantics, syntax and morphology, pragmatics, and prelinguistic skills, so examiners can evaluate a child's communication, keep a record of performance and turn the results into IEP goals and objectives. Each inventory takes 15 to 30 minutes, and the kit includes the manual, a picture book, picture cards and 10 each of the prelanguage, receptive and expressive booklets and profile forms.
